斑秃(Alopecia areata,AA)是一种常见的自身免疫性疾病,并有可能进展为全秃(Alopecia totalis,AT)和普秃(Alopecia universalis,AU),严重影响患者的心理健康和生活质量。斑秃发生于任何年龄,但是严重的斑秃通常起始于儿童时期。几项研究和病例报告显示JAK抑制剂治疗斑秃有着很好的疗效。以往的病例系列研究报道了12-19岁的青少年患者系统使用托法替尼治疗,3-7岁的儿童患者外用托法替尼和鲁索替尼治疗。一项最近的病例系列研究显示4名8-10岁的斑秃患儿系统使用托法替尼治疗取得了良好的效果。
据发表于《美国医学会杂志•皮肤科》(JAMADermatology)的研究称,耶鲁大学医学院皮肤科专家应用托法替尼成功治愈一例癜风患者。研究人员King博士以前发现,托法替尼可用于斑秃。白癜也是一种自身免疫性疾病,免疫系统攻击能够产生皮肤色素的黑色素细胞,癜风患者的皮肤上会出现白斑。这些白斑会使人产生巨大的心理压力。目前有几种方法治疗白癜,比如类固醇类药物及光疗,但是这些方法都没有可靠的疗效。
因此King博士及其共同研究者BrittanyCraiglow博士认为这个药物对治疗白癜应该也有用。此项研究主要是对一名53岁的癜风患者进行的,这名患者的脸部、手部及身体上布满明显的白斑,并且在前一年这些白斑在不停的增加。她已经使用过药膏和光疗,但是病情持续发展。在他们的临床试验中,病人开始时隔日口服托法替尼5mg,3周后增加为每日5mg。研究者发现,治疗2个月后,病人的胳膊、脸、手等部位的色斑开始恢复。5个月以后病人面部和手上的白斑几乎全部消失。只有身体上还留有几个白斑。
